This vase is a vase in Scavo glass from Murano, made in Italy (typically between the mid and late 20th century, roughly from the 1950s to the 1980s).

The "Scavo" technique refers to the archaeological excavation effect. The technique was devised by Venetian glass masters to imitate the encrusted, opaque, and corroded surface of ancient Roman or Greek glass left buried underground for centuries.
Mists of chemical powders (such as minerals, oxides, or ashes) are applied to the surface of the hot glass during blowing, fusing into an opaque, rough, chalky-looking patina.
Light blue/turquoise base with the characteristic white chalky efflorescences with a "corrosion" effect.
Classic urn/baluster shape with a broad, rounded shoulder, narrow base, and flared rim.
The bottom and interior reveal the underlying green-teal/sea-green translucent core typical of the original Murano blown glass.
The vase is intact in all parts, like new.
