Description from the seller
3 bottles Domaine Dandelion – Cidre 2021
A special lot of three Domaine Dandelion Cidre 2021 bottles, made by the small-scale Burgundian estate of Morgane Seuillot and Christian Knott.
Domaine Dandelion is based in Mavilly-Mandelot in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and is known for its pronounced artisanal and natural approach. The vineyard work is largely done by hand and with horses, and even in the cellar as little intervention as possible is involved.
For this Cidre 2021, the same philosophy is applied to the apples. The cider is made from Burgundian apples and is unfiltered and produced without additions – the label explicitly states “non filtré et sans intrants.” A specialized source additionally notes that more than twenty different apple varieties were used for this cuvée and that the cider was bottled without racking and without filtration.
The result is a dry, artisanal cider with a lively and pure apple character. The alcohol content for this 2021 is listed as 7%.
