Bang & Olufsen - Beomaster 900M stereo version Solid state stereo receiver

This iconic stereo receiver was designed by Henning Moldenhawer in the sixties of the last century and went into production around 1964 at the start of the transistor era.

But the unit, after extensive revision, plays again like new and has a wonderful sound that is reproduced through external speakers. This version comes standard with the built-in stereo decoder so that even FM stations broadcasting in stereo are output in stereo.

The receiver can display stations in FM, MG, LG and KG bands.

The overall condition of the radio is truly excellent, but of course the radio is 50 years old and that naturally leaves a few signs of use.

The radio has a built-in FM and AM antenna, but especially for FM reception it is better to connect an external antenna.

The radio has undergone full service and everything that was not good or defective has been replaced, such as for example all the display lamps and various capacitors and transistors; the switches and potentiometers have been cleaned so they operate without crackling.

I am a retired electronics/mechanic and I purely hobbyistically engage in the restoration and repair of B&O equipment from this period. For me, good repair is more important than how long it takes.

After the auction the device will be double secured and protected, packed and insured for shipment to prevent as much transport damage as possible.
