Old turned-wood chair with a caned seat – Napoléon III style – Late 19th century
Elegant old turned-wood chair with a caned seat, presenting a slim and particularly decorative silhouette.
The backrest consists of turned stiles and spindles, with an upper curved rail ornamented at its center.
The thin legs and stretchers echo this characteristic turned work of furniture from the second half of the 19th century.
The seat is made of natural cane, nicely contrasted by the warm tone and patina of the wood.
The chair displays a beautiful antique patina, with small marks and natural nuances linked to its age that contribute to its authenticity.
It is in very good overall condition considering its age.
The cane is present and offers a very handsome visual aspect.
