A particularly elegant Bauhaus-style wall-mounted coat and hat rack, executed in chromed tubular steel and dating most probably from the 1930s.
The design is wonderfully economical. Two large continuous tubular loops form the side supports, while a series of slender horizontal rails stretches between them. The upper rails create space for hats, scarves or folded garments, while the lower central bar carries eight individual metal hooks for coats and jackets.
