The Canon EOS 700 QD, released in 1990, is an easy-to-use 35mm autofocus SLR for the Canon EF mount, with simple automatic modes ideal for everyday photography. It accepts the full range of Canon EF lenses and is offered here as a set with a Canon EF 35-80mm Power Zoom lens.

There is haze in the lens and marks in the viewfinder, and auto-exposure runs bright in strong light. Please review the photos and consider this before bidding.

Optical Condition
Haze: Haze in the lens — see photos.
Finder: Marks on the viewfinder optics, visible when looking through the finder.

Functional
The camera operates properly — autofocus, shutter, film transport, the built-in flash and the quartz date back all work.
Metering measured about -0.2 EV at EV12 and +2.7 EV at EV15, so exposure runs bright in high light levels.
Supplied with the Canon Zoom Lens EF 28-90mm f/4-5.6 as pictured; autofocus, zoom and aperture all operate.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.2 UNDER / EV15: 2.7 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Known Issues
1. There is haze in the lens (see photos) — expect reduced contrast against strong light.
2. There are marks on the viewfinder optics. They are visible when composing but do not touch the recorded image.
3. Auto-exposure runs bright at high light levels (about +2.7 EV at EV15). Negative film tolerates this; slide film users should take note.

Shipping
We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery.

Customs and Taxes
Parcels are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): import VAT and any customs duties are collected by customs or the carrier on delivery, in accordance with the rules of the destination country.
