The illuminating body features the classic robust domed metal shell produced by stamping with an ivory white finish, enhanced by the charm of the original analog controls from the era (mechanical snap timer knob and black color-contrasting intensity selectors) and by the factory blue metal badge riveted to the back. The structure is extremely versatile: mounted on a chrome-plated steel telescopic stand, it is height-adjustable and supported by a solid mobile star base with swivel casters, allowing easy relocation. The front part preserves the original concentric geometric grille in chrome steel. Current state and LED modification: The lamp has been completely emptied of the old and dangerous original 1200W radiant circuit to be made safe and converted to today’s eco-friendly lighting. Inside, a modern low-consumption LED panel was installed, optimized to operate simply and safely with a single switch. The old front controls (timer and selectors) and fuses have been bypassed and retained solely for aesthetic purposes to preserve the wonderful original retro-tech look.
