Rare and exceptional 1:18 scale die-cast model signed by Exoto for the prestigious Racing Legends limited-edition collection (item RLG18163, barcode 646268181633). Designed on Tony Kopeneyan Design engineering and with a serial number engraved on the undershell (Serial No. A 0252). The model reproduces the famous and futuristic Chaparral 2E number 66 driven by the designer and driver Jim Hall during the Can-Am Championship of 1966. The model is characterized by a museum-level level of detail and disassembly: the plexiglass canopy, the front hood/nose and the entire rear bodywork are fully removable, revealing the meticulous reproduction of the Chevrolet V8 engine with metal intake trumpets, wiring of the electrical and fuel systems, radiators, independent suspensions, visible tubular chassis and a detailed racing cockpit. Complete with its original Exoto box and its protective inner polystyrene shell. A great opportunity for experienced modelers and collectors as a base for completion.

NOTES

• The tall, imposing rear spoiler with its supporting mounts is missing.
• Model with the body and mechanical parts in generally good cosmetic condition, with the only specified missing item being the spoiler above.
• Includes its original Exoto Racing Legends box and its protective inner polystyrene shell.
• Requires light general cleaning and retrieval/assembly of the rear spoiler.
