AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Triptych folding mirror commonly referred to as a barber’s mirror or travel mirror. This type of object, very popular from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century (Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods), features three articulated rectangular glass panels mounted on hinges. Its chiselled and gilded metal frame is adorned with an upper chain for hanging. The mirrors are in good condition.
The main face features a decoration of mountain flowers (there is varnish wear visible in the photos). The closure is somewhat tricky due to the hinges, which have shifted a bit due to its great age: 120 years. Once opened, or hung, it is very functional.
Dimensions: 22 x 14 cm.
Weight: 880 grams.
