Vintage MARTINI Advertising Sign – Publistip Paris – 1960s

Magnificent and rare original MARTINI advertising sign "l’apéritif", dating from the 1960s and produced in France by Publistip – Paris, as indicated by the marking on the lower edge.

Made in ribbed sheet metal with silkscreen, it features the famous MARTINI graphic with the large red central disk, ivory background and white logo on a black field. At the bottom appear the cursive inscription “l’apéritif” and “EN VENTE ICI”.

The sign is in exceptional condition for its age, nearly perfect: colors still very vivid, glossy surface and the graphics beautifully preserved. Only minimal marks compatible with more than sixty years of storage. The overall condition and, in particular, the state of the mounting holes suggest that it may never actually have been used or displayed, although this cannot be guaranteed with certainty.

Particularly interesting is the format 66 × 33 cm, decidedly rare to find, which makes this piece very decorative and desirable for collectors of vintage advertising, MARTINI memorabilia, bar signs and vintage Italian and French objects.
