Napoleon III Era Coffee Table in the Louis XVI Style
Important Napoleon III era coffee table, crafted in the Louis XVI style and characterized by an elegant lacquered light-toned structure with refined gilded details. The top, rectangular with beveled corners, features a wide central surface in antique pink tones, enclosed by a slender inlay and a molded frame. The perimeter band is richly decorated with gilded raised vegetal motifs, interspersed with geometric elements. The table rests on four straight, tapered, and fluted legs, embellished with gilded details that underscore its Neoclassical design. The lacquer shows light wear and traces of time consistent with the piece’s age, contributing to its decorative charm. An elegant table with a strong presence, ideal for living rooms, classical interiors, or prestigious furnishings.
