So they reached us, perfectly preserved, pure linen with a great application of Chantilly lace. Hand embroidery, perfect. The whole thing covers the upper edge and falls to both sides. Upper edge in cross-stitch. Lower edge with an openwork hem. All hand-embroidered. Two period pillowcases, still pristine, never used—only the dust of time that disappears with washing and a few small stains in the folds.
