Large, aesthetically appealing mineral specimen from Afghanistan featuring a striking emerald-green to dark-green tourmaline crystal on quartz. The tourmaline exhibits a pronounced prismatic form with clear longitudinal striations and partially transparent, brilliantly green color zones. The crystal is accompanied by a large, pale, slightly smoky-beige quartz crystal as well as additional quartz aggregates.

Special emphasis should be placed on the strong contrast between the dark green tourmaline and the light quartz.
