A beautiful and exceptionally well-preserved example of classic Bang & Olufsen Danish audio design, created by renowned designer Jacob Jensen.
Manufactured in Denmark in the late 1970s, the Beogram 1902 represented the top model in B&O’s radial-arm turntable range and combines the company’s unmistakable minimalist design with sophisticated fully automatic operation.
This example is equipped with the highly desirable original Bang & Olufsen MMC 4000 cartridge, the cartridge originally specified for the Beogram 1902.
The turntable has been carefully tested and is fully functional.
Tested functions include:
• 33 RPM operation
• 45 RPM operation
• Automatic start
• Automatic tonearm movement
• Smooth tonearm lowering
• Automatic record-size selection
• Pause / cue operation
• Automatic return
• Stable platter rotation
• Audio reproduction through the fitted MMC 4000 cartridge

Original MMC 4000 cartridge
An important feature of this example is the presence of its original Bang & Olufsen MMC 4000 cartridge.
The MMC 4000 was the original high-quality cartridge specified for the Beogram 1902 and features a naked elliptical diamond stylus. The cartridge fitted to this turntable has been tested during operation and is functioning correctly.
Condition
The Beogram is presented in excellent overall vintage condition, particularly considering its age.
The brushed aluminium surface remains clean and attractive, the distinctive platter presents beautifully and the wood-effect trim retains the elegant appearance characteristic of classic Bang & Olufsen equipment.
The original smoked dust cover is complete and presents very well. Very minor age-related signs of use may be visible upon close inspection, as can reasonably be expected from an original vintage item.
The tonearm, platter, controls and original cartridge are all present.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and provide an accurate representation of the condition of this example.
