A beautiful lot of natural yellow Epidote crystals from Mohmand District, Pakistan, with a total weight of approximately 72 grams. The lot contains numerous well-formed prismatic crystals displaying the characteristic longitudinal striations and attractive natural crystal formations.
The crystal show good transparency and excellent natural lustre, with attractive golden-yellow to yellow-brown coloration. Many individual pieces are transparent to translucent and display pleasing internal reflections when viewed under light. Most of the material consists of crystal-type pieces, making this an interesting lot for collectors, mineral enthusiasts, and potentially for lapidary use where suitable material is selected.
The crystals have been kept in their natural condition and are stated to be unheated and untreated, preserving their original appearance and characteristics.
