Biedermeier religious wall clock, whose movement originates from the German Black Forest (Schwarzwald). The clock was made in the 19th century, probably between 1840 and 1870. The inner mechanism is a classic Schwarzwälder holzgespindelt movement (a movement with wooden plates).
