An archaic glass earring from the ancient Chinese culture, Second Millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Traces of use and age on its surface. Original,ancient, hand forming, cutting and grinding.
Purchased in 1976/Nanking, China by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market during a diplomatic mission in the region.
