Magnificent and rare original edition published in 1966 by Rizzoli Editore (Milan), conceived entirely by Salvador Dalí at a moment of his greatest creative maturity. Pater Noster is one of the artist’s most singular editorial works, in which he fuses spirituality, Christian symbolism, and surrealist language in a project of extraordinary plastic and editorial quality.

The large-format volume presents the text of the Lord’s Prayer in numerous languages—including Latin, Italian, Spanish, French, English, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese—accompanied by a series of striking compositions conceived by Dalí in 1966. The illustrations, reproduced with great color fidelity on high-quality paper, display the unmistakable aesthetics of the Master from Figueres, combining watercolor, drawing, and gestural graphics with a deep symbolic and religious content.

The elegant blue silk publisher’s binding, decorated on the cover with the golden typography designed by Dalí himself and dated 1966, makes the work a magnificent example of a 20th-century artist’s book. Inside there are also the characteristic signatures and dates reproduced from the original edition.

This publication was issued in a limited print run, and today it is an increasingly hard-to-find work, complete and in good condition, especially outside the circuit of specialized bookstores.

Condition: Good overall. Clean and complete interior, with illustrations perfectly preserved and colors vivid. The original binding is firm, showing only slight wear and small signs of use on the cover, typical of the passage of time.
