Object Details
Item: Large double-sided central desk (center desk).
Estimated Period: Circa 1940 (Fascist Era / Transition between Art Deco and Italian Rationalism).

Materials: Solid wood frame, veneer in premium walnut figured grain, aluminum/chromed metal details and handles, thick protective glass top.
Conditions: Excellent vintage condition. Solid frame with minor signs of wear consistent with age and office use (small superficial cracks and charming patina of time). Drawer mechanisms are smooth.

Striking and imposing Italian ministerial desk from the 1940s, characterized by a solid and geometric Rationalist design, typical of the grand executive or representative offices of the era.
The desk is a center-piece piece, impeccably finished on all sides, including the back which features an open compartment and a splendid figured walnut veneer paneling, ideal for hosting client or visitor chairs.
