A fine Chinese black lacquer snuff bottle decorated in the intricate "Laque Burgauté" (Luodian) technique, dating to the late Qing Dynasty.

- Material: Black lacquer with extremely fine, iridescent mother-of-pearl (abalone shell) inlays and gold-foil/wire accents
- Decoration: Both main sides feature diamond-shaped reserves enclosing delicate flowering branches rising from rockwork, encircled by dense geometric diaper and floral star patterns
- Base: Bears an incised and gilt four-character mark of the celebrated lacquer master Jiang Qianli (江千里) within an unlacquered recessed foot rim
- Stopper: Matching lacquer stopper centered with a mother-of-pearl rosette, complete with its original, intact bone/bamboo spoon
- Dimensions: Height approx. 6.5 cm
- Condition: In exceptionally well-preserved condition for its age. No notable losses to the mother-of-pearl inlay, lacquer surface intact and lustrous. Stopper and spoon fully intact. Please refer to the detailed images for the exact condition.
