This object is crafted from heavy, solid yellow copper/brass using the traditional sand-casting method. The square base on small feet and the raised fat catcher are beautifully adorned with detailed relief work featuring floral motifs and ornaments. It is equipped with a striking, long, and elaborately worked handle.
On the inside/bottom edge of the fat catcher, the casting/model number '22' is impressed with a punch mark.
