Offered is a beautiful Luxval “Américain” vase from Val Saint Lambert, rendered in an exceptionally rare and highly attractive cobalt blue color.

The vase features the characteristic elegant, elongated form of the “Américain” model, with a graceful neck, attractive vertical lines and a distinctive geometrical foot. The intense blue is especially shown to its best effect by the transparency of the glass, creating a brilliant play of light.

This piece is particularly interesting because of the rare color variant. Colored Luxval objects in this shade are considerably less common than the more well-known versions and are therefore highly sought after by specialized collectors of Val Saint Lambert and Luxval glass.
