Bathroom console in wood with marble top and towel rack – Liberty style, early 20th century
Elegant bathroom console / dressing table in wood, of Liberty taste, characterized by a rectangular light-veined marble top with beveled corners.
The piece features two front drawers with turned knobs, a wide lower shaped shelf, and two side towel racks in wood. The curved and slender legs, joined to the curved profile of the shelf, give the whole a refined line typical of early 20th-century furniture.
Italian production from the early decades of the 20th century. The drawers are internally lined with decorated paper.
Solid condition and pleasant presence, with signs of use, patina, small scratches, abrasions and stains consistent with age and use. The marble top shows normal signs of aging and small defects at the edges, visible in the photographs.
