Ancient African tribal bracelet/manilla with a strong presence.
Solid piece cast by lost-wax technique in bronze, with a traditional oval shape and thickened ends. It features a magnificent dark brown patina with greenish tones, the result of years of use, with an irregular artisanal texture characteristic of tribal forging.
West African typology, possibly Nigeria (Igbo / Yoruba) or Ivory Coast.
Used as an ornament of prestige, symbol of status, bridal dowry, and an ancient form of exchange currency.
Material: Solid bronze, artisanally cast
