The wavy moldings of the cabinet door panels are the distinctive feature of Southern French furniture. In the center, between the two doors, there is a rosette-carved formella (or spiral motif), a classic ornamental element of French rural art.

The long hinges placed on the upper and lower edges of the doors imitate the old wrought-iron hardware typical of French regional furniture. The precision and uniformity of the panel work indicate a production in the twentieth century.

The piece has undergone an antiquing treatment using Tuscan antique patina technique. The original surface has been lightened to enhance the wood grain through the overlapping of color layers and their subsequent removal, naturally accelerating the effects of time and the patination process. The result is achieved through the use of formulas that combine natural glues, ground pigments, and other traditional ingredients, giving the furniture an authentically aged finish with great charm.

The spaces between the uprights, both internal and external, have been clad with decorative damask-patterned paper in pink tones, creating an elegant bright contrast.

The back panel has also been fully integrated into the restyling: the panels are covered with the same damask pattern present inside. This makes the piece finished on all sides and no longer intended solely to be placed against a wall. It can indeed be positioned also in the center of a room, in an open-plan space, or used as a room divider between the kitchen area and the living area.

The piece thus presents a refined two-sided feature, with a complete 360-degree finish. No damage, no imperfections present.
