1990 Land Rover Range Rover Classic 300TDI, manual diesel, grey, 94,538 km, Belgian registration, MOT valid until 13 November 2026, CoC and certificate available, in very good overall condition.
Description from the seller
This is a 1990 Range Rover TDI (originally 2.5L) with the sunroof option that has been restored, repainted and improved upon.
Approximately 200km on the clock since the restoration that took place between May and December 2024..
A freshly rebuilt and reconditioned 300TDI engine and a revised gearbox was fitted to the chassis.
The chassis is in very good condition without rust or damage.
The new paint colour of the car is ‘China Grey’. The roof and the original wheels are black.
Rear door windows and panel windows are tinted.
This car spent its life in Spain from where it was imported to Belgium in 2024. Only 2 owners. All panels of the car are original.
Front and rear seats were refurbished in leather, new carpets (Wilton quality) throughout and a new headliner were fitted.
Additional features such as LED H4 headlight bulbs and a ‘hands free’ Apple car play radio was fitted.
USB charger for two iPhones.
The original central 4 door locking system has been upgraded to a key fob lock system.
Two key fobs and two original keys are included.
The car runs and drives as it should with additional features for the modern day as described.
Mechanical:
The car benefits from 4 reconditioned brake callipers and brake pads.
New rear shock absorbers.
Brake lines checked and replaced as required.
Front and rear wheel bearings replaced.
Engine, gearbox and drive train oil change.
New air, oil and fuel filters.
New glow plugs.
New windscreen wipers front and rear.
New battery.
Upgraded LED lighting for the instrument display and a new speedometer showing 93,000 km but actually only 200Km since the fitting of a rebuilt engine. The original 2.5L instrument cluster was changed to ensure the functionality of the tachometer and speedometer in line with the new 300TDI engine.
Faults:
The side/front and rear indicators work perfectly but are not indicated on the instrument cluster due the fact that LED's have been fitted to the main lighting system. The rear heated window option is not functional.
Additional information:
The car has passed its ‘Contrôle technique’ in Belgium (MOT equivalent and valid until 2026) and is an ‘Oldtimer’ historic vehicle with reduced tax in most countries.
The car is sold ‘as seen in the photos and described in this text’ with invoices for most of the parts and work carried out.
To comply to European road regulations the chassis number has been checked and confirmed by the Range Rover importer for Belgium and the number itself has been re tapped on the chassis rail as per current regulations (see pdf photos).
It is advisable to view the vehicle before bidding to avoid disappointment afterwards. Please contact Catawiki if you would like to visit the car before the end of the auction.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration.
