Description from the seller

Junghans Table Alarm Clock, Fully Functional (c. 1895)
A superb and highly collectible piece of German architectural style clockmaking was made by the world-renowned Gebrüder Junghans around the end of the 19th century (c. 1895–1900).
The clock is surrounded by a classic wooden case of simple lines with an architectural front, retaining all its original structural details, and is equipped with a functional brass carrying handle at the top.
The dial stands out for its two internal sub-dials: one at the top for setting the time of the mechanical alarm and one at the bottom for indicating the seconds.
The brass mechanism on the back is in very good and clean condition and bears the original embossed stamp with the Junghans eight-pointed star logo (officially patented in 1890), as well as the original F/S (Fast/Slow) speed adjustment lever.
