Description from the seller
Splendid and eccentric vintage Italian artistic ceramic table service, consisting of a large carafe/vessel for wine or water with sculptural, modern design and 4 matching goblets/glasses.
Made and painted entirely by hand by the famous FIMA (Fabbrica Italiana Maioliche Artistiche) Deruta, renowned for artisanal quality and innovative design in the heart of Umbria.
The service stands out for its dynamic lines inspired by Mid-Century/Art Deco, with a twisted and elongated handle in contrast in black and white, enriched by geometric motifs, diamonds and multicolored relief details (black, red and white) on a cream/light straw-yellow striated background.
The carafe bears at the base the handmade-painted origin mark: "FIMA DERUTA".
A visually striking set, perfect for everyday use or as a decorative piece or collectible for lovers of Italian artistic ceramic of the twentieth century.
