An exceptional and highly prestigious piece of Swiss watchmaking.
This antique 8-day table clock / travel alarm clock in a small size was manufactured by the world-famous Swiss company Zenith Watch Co. around the beginning of the 20th century (circa 1890–1915).
Design & Features:
The clock stands out for its top quality workmanship, featuring a sturdy case. It sits elegantly on two original spherical support feet and is crowned by a distinctive, heavy triangular carrying handle at the top.
The original dial presents a beautiful patina of time, bears easy-to-read Arabic numerals and is equipped with two functional internal sub-dials: one above for the seconds display and one below for setting the time of the mechanical alarm.
The base is signed "SWISS MADE".
Mechanism & Authenticity:
The bronze movement plate on the back is fully accessible and bears the official embossed manufacturer's stamp: "ZENITH WATCH Co. SWISS MADE", as well as the original F/S (Fast/Slow) speed adjustment lever.
