AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

1st edition of Tintin in Tibet

Original Belgian edition "Imprimé en Belgique par les établissements Casterman, s. a., Tournai." In the original edition of Tintin in Tibet, the airplane that crashes at the beginning of the story belonged to the company Indian Airways, which immediately protested because of the bad publicity it caused. The publisher transformed the company’s name to “Sari Airways” in subsequent editions. One can recognize the original edition of this album by the name of the company written in the newspaper article that reports the crash at the beginning of the story (page 2). However, a keen eye will notice the company’s logo (page 28) and that the name “Air India” is visible on the airplane at the end of the album when Chang recounts the accident (page 58).

heel mooie rug, maar wat verkleurd
heel mooie voor en achterkaft
weinig slijtage aan de randen
schutbladen zitten mooi vast
heel mooi boekblok
