Description from the seller

Lamp from the 1970s/1980s. Made of Murano glass. The lamp features an internal wooden base to which a round brass gold-colored part is applied, which is the one visible in the photo as the base. Then the lamp stem with the amphora-shaped body is made of white opaline glass, decorated with a spiral hot-applied with colored glass threads in a chromatic contrast that in this case are brick red. This type of workmanship diffuses light softly and evenly. On top is completed by a closure also in gold brass from which the white plastic structure begins, containing the bulb that illuminates the upper part. The lampshade is pleated/accordion-style. The lamp has a double electrical system, so it can be used either by turning on only the bulb inside the glass body or via the switch under the lampshade, also using the bulb on the upper part.

Using both bulbs as seen in some photos, the glass part diffuses an elegant atmosphere. Lamp suitable to be placed on a side table next to the sofa, on a desk, an office, or on a sideboard. It is perfectly functional.

Measurements: height 60 cm. Width 41 cm. Depth 41 cm. Height of the glass part 35 cm.

The lamp has been used and shows brass parts with signs of age due to normal use as visible in the photo.

Lamp with high collectible value, suitable for collectors of Murano glass artworks or for anyone who wishes to have a unique piece of Italian craftsmanship history in Murano glass to display in their office/home to give it a touch of elegance.

It will be shipped with proper packaging and tracked shipping.

In the last two photos you can see the explanation taken from the web with a photo of a similar but round lamp sold on another platform.
