Perfume flask - Wood

Very pretty antique perfume vanity set, dating from the second half of the 19th century, presented in its elegant blackened wooden case with a flowing, ornate form.

The lid is delicately adorned with mouldings and an inlaid brass cartouche, typical of the Napoleonic III era.

Upon opening, the case reveals three charming matching cobalt blue glass bottles, decorated with delicate gold embellishments and floral motifs. They are topped with beautiful faceted stoppers.

A particularly decorative ensemble, whose contrast between the black wood, the deep blue of the bottles, and the gold highlights gives it a great deal of elegance.
