Lidded vase - Porcelain - 32 cm hand-painted enamel

A wonderfully large porcelain lidded vase with hand-painted enamel on a lemon-yellow glaze. The motif shows scenes around the Chinese garden. A pheasant sits in its magnificent plumage on a tree trunk amid blooming rose bushes. A colorful flock of birds frolics in a blooming fruit tree. Two small defects in the yellow glaze are present (see photos). The object has been given a light patina, which makes it even more precious. The colors depicted may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen.
