Miniature boar sculpture – Pedro Durán – 925 silver – Spain – circa 1940–1950
Magnificent and expressive sculptural miniature crafted in 925 sterling silver by the prestigious Spanish firm Pedro Durán, one of Spain's best-known silversmith houses, renowned for the quality of its decorative pieces and silver sculptures.
The figure depicts a boar in dynamic pose, captured in full motion with great force and character. The extraordinary sculptural workmanship of the coat, musculature, and the animal's expression stands out, executed with a remarkable level of detail and depth. The piece conveys energy and personality, reflecting the artistic mastery characteristic of Pedro Durán.
