Elegant and uncommon Portuguese little box made of 925 sterling silver, small in size with careful artisanal craftsmanship.

The piece features an attractive rectangular shape with chamfered corners and a front clasp.

The lid is decorated with a deep, glossy black enamel, on which a silver relief ornamental motif stands out, creating an elegant contrast between the deep black of the enamel and the shine of the metal.

The box opens via a rear hinge and retains its closing mechanism. The interior is also made of silver and presents a simple, functional construction.

Due to its reduced dimensions, this type of piece could be used as a pocket pillbox, a small jewelry box, a container for storing tiny personal objects, mementos, amulets, or other sentimental items of value.
