Handheld solid-silver candlestick 958/1000, of French origin and seemingly from Paris.
French silverware from the 1740s to 1760s
Louis XV period, 18th century.
Three hallmarks: the first is under the plate and represents a leaf; the second hallmarks can be found on the outside of the binet and represents the hallmark of the guild; the third hallmarks are inside the binet.
These three hallmarks are a guarantee of very high metal quality, its origin, and its age.
Some small signs of wear with time but in very good condition.
