Decanter - Peltro

Splendid wine or liqueur decanter, dating from the second half of the twentieth century, characterized by exquisite artisanal craftsmanship. The body of the decanter is made of transparent glass, blown and formed with a bulb-shaped base. The base and neck are embellished with a rich mount of silvered metal or pewter, decorated with naturalistic relief motifs, in particular grape clusters and vine leaves that surround the lower part of the glass. The glass stopper is also topped with an elaborate metal knob in the shape of a leaf. The piece is presented in overall excellent condition, with a natural patina of time on the metal that enhances its antique charm.
