Lock (5) Antique

This is a lot of antique wrought iron or forged locks, typically dating from the period between the late nineteenth century and the early twentieth century. These vintage hardware pieces were mounted "a redosso" (i.e., externally, without a recessed fit) on wooden doors, large dressers, military chests, or interior doors of rustic farmhouses.
Identified types in the lot:
Door and chest locks (Top and center): Heavy rectangular plates with escutcheons for old-style male or female keys, some equipped with the classic horizontal external sliding bolt.
Lock "alla Sarda" or lever bolt (Bottom): The lower piece shows a mechanism typical of traditional external or door locks, characterized by a lever handle or a built-in drop-down on the mounting plate.
