Beautiful and characterful pewter vase designed by the renowned Danish designer and sculptor Just Andersen (1884–1943).
This small but substantial vase is model No. 1802, dating from 1935. Its sculptural form and balanced proportions are characteristic of Just Andersen’s distinctive approach to Danish design during the 1930s.
Despite its compact size, the vase has an impressive weight of approximately 520 grams, giving it a solid and substantial feel.
The surface has developed a beautiful natural patina, adding depth and character to the piece while emphasizing its vintage appearance.
