Hepta Seven (H7) high-end 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeakers in black finish, technically in 100% working order, completely original and visually in neat condition with light signs of use consistent with age.
A hand-built quality set from Hepta Design Audio (designed by Cris Rutgers in Westzaan, original new price €3,495 per set).
The speakers have a slightly rearward-slanting front for optimal phase alignment and are equipped with a Hepta-modified 'jetline' bass-reflex port. The heavy 22 mm thick MDF cabinet is internally reinforced with four inset stiffening frames to counteract resonances.
The treble is handled by a patented 28 mm Acuflex-dome tweeter with triple magnet, good for a range up to 40 kHz. Two 16 cm woofers with large 75 mm aluminum voice-coil guides deliver tight, controlled bass and midrange. The internal crossover is built with heavy inductors, audiophile capacitors and silver-plated copper wiring.
