Item Description
This listing is for a Nikon F 35mm SLR camera body finished in black, fitted with the standard eye-level pentaprism viewfinder (marked with the "F" logo). The Nikon F, introduced in 1959, was Nikon's first professional single-lens reflex system camera and remains one of the most influential cameras in photographic history.

The body features the classic F-mount lens throw-in bayonet, a shutter speed dial marked from 1 second to 1/1000 plus Bulb, a self-timer lever, and a film type reminder dial on the rewind knob. A serial number is engraved on the top plate near the rewind side. The camera is offered as a body only, without a lens.

Black-paint brassing is visible along the prism edges and body corners, consistent with genuine age and handling. The mirror box, focusing screen, and reflex mirror are all present and visually intact. No functional testing (shutter speeds, meter, or mirror operation) has been performed; the camera is offered as inspected visually only.

Condition
Visible brassing and wear to the black paint finish on the prism housing and body edges, consistent with age and use. The mirror, focusing screen, and mount ring are intact upon visual inspection. Sold as a body only, untested mechanically.
