Pair of handmade nightstands made in Italy in the 1950s, in wood, featuring a small door and a drawer.

The furniture pieces show a narrow, vertical body with rounded edges and front legs integrated into the side panels. The body is made of solid oak or ash, while the side and front panels are presumably veneered. The brass hardware is original and has never been replaced. The top is wooden.

Each nightstand is equipped with a small door and a drawer for storing small objects or books. In good condition, though there are some slight discolorations and a few small marks due to age and wear.

Dimensions: height 60 cm, width 40 cm, depth 27 cm.

Coppia di comodini realizzati a mano in Italia negli anni ’50, in legno, dotati di un’antina e di un cassetto.

I mobili presentano un corpo stretto e verticale con bordi arrotondati e gambe anteriori integrate nei pannelli laterali. Il corpo è realizzato in rovere massello o frassino, mentre i pannelli laterali e frontali sono presumibilmente impiallacciati. La ferramenta in ottone è originale e non è mai stata sostituita. Il piano è in legno.

Ogni comodino è dotato di una piccola anta e di un cassetto per riporre piccoli oggetti o libri. In buone condizioni, anche se si notano alcuni lievi scolorimenti e qualche piccolo segno dovuto all’età e all’usura.
