Description from the seller
"Goldorak Industries" Ultra-limited edition, only 10 copies.
Just by seeing this silhouette, an entire generation still hears the opening theme. With Goldorak Industries, SKE does not merely summon Goldorak: he propels it into a visual collision between Japanese pop memory, advertising culture, and street art energy.
In the center, the cult robot emerges in a low-angle shot, monumental, intact in its mythical power. Behind him, Kodak’s industrial imagination, the slogan “WE SELL,” the Japanese characters, and the raw splattered material transform the image into a worn poster, as if torn from another era and then reactivated with paint, tension, and rhythm. That is precisely where the work hits: it speaks as much to the child fascinated by Goldorak as to the collector sensitive to graphic subversions, popular icons, and the emotional charge of cult references.
SKE signs here a piece that neither indulges in simple nostalgia nor in derivative product. He builds a meeting between pop culture, collective memory, and contemporary writing, with this raw, frontal, instantly recognizable visual language. Goldorak Industries speaks to those who know what this hero represents, and to those who enjoy seeing an icon tipping into the territory of art. A work that does more than dress a wall: it asserts a gaze, a generation, and a real intention of collection.

- FRAMING TIPS
Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or decor stores.
Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they perfectly showcase the works.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who was immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and also featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture explorations characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY The work of SKE fits into a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to subvert Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is everywhere: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textures that sometimes evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
