The iconic square desktop ashtray model "4642", designed in 1979 by the renowned designer and co-founder of Kartell, Anna Castelli Ferrieri.
The piece consists of two interlocking modules in black glossy technopolymer. It can be used both as a designer ashtray and as an iconic desk or entryway catchall tray.
On the bottom there is the raised brand mark "Kartell made in Italy" impressed.
Note a noticeable chip on the profile of the lower front corner of the base (thoroughly documented in the close-up macro photos in the gallery).
