Louis Kalff designed this lamp in the 1950s for Philips with the model name ‘Bijou’, which in French means ‘jewelry’ (jewel). The design is timeless, so this lamp still has a modern appearance. The shade is made of lacquered aluminum with a light-colored interior to enhance light reflection.

This lamp is in fully original condition, in the original color green/ petrol blue. Under the shade the lamp is marked with the Philips label reading “Made in Holland.” The cord, switch and plug are also original.

The lamp has been tested and is working, and, for its age, is in very good condition. A beautiful addition for lovers of designer lighting.

Louis Kalff heeft deze lamp in de jaren 50 ontworpen voor Philips met als modelnaam ‘Bijou’ wat in het Frans 'juweel' betekent. De vormgeving is tijdloos waardoor deze lamp nog steeds een moderne uitstraling heeft. De kap is gemaakt van gelakt aluminium waarvan de binnenkant een lichte kleur om de reflectie van het licht te vergroten. 

Deze lamp is in volledig originele staat, in de originele kleur groen/petrol blauw.  Onder de kap is de lamp gemerkt met het Philips label met daarop “Made in Holland”. Snoer, schakelaar en stekker zijn eveneens origineel.  

Lamp is werkend gecontroleerd en verkeert voor zijn leeftijd in een zeer goede conditie. Een mooie aanwinst voor de liefhebbers van design verlichting.

Lamp wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en met track en trace verzekerd verzonden.
