Description from the seller
DESCRIPTION:
• 1/18 scale metal car model, brand new, of the 1967 Shelby GT500, in metallic gray with black racing stripes, manufactured by Solido.
• New box.
• Real rubber tires.
• Steerable wheels.
• Functional doors that open.
• Interior and exterior with a high level of detail.
• Officially licensed product.
**About the model:**
One of the great icons of the American automotive industry, born in 1967, the Shelby GT500 resulted from the transformation of the Ford Mustang fastback.
This version, prepared by Carroll Shelby, stands out for its more aggressive and sporty look. It features air intakes at the front and on the sides, while the rear received an even more special treatment, with taillights inspired by the Mercury Cougar and a spoiler.
But the main change is under the hood: a powerful V8 engine of 450 hp, capable of taking the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 220 km/h.
For its time, these were truly impressive numbers.
