Beautiful and elegant Christofle France silver-plated coffee/tea service, accompanied by a large matching-style serving tray.
The service consists of a large coffee/tea pot with fitted lid, covered two-handled sugar bowl and milk/cream jug.
The pieces have an exceptionally elegant classical design, with beautifully proportioned baluster-shaped bodies, raised decorative bases and finely detailed borders. The coffee pot and cream jug feature distinctive contrasting dark handles, adding considerable character and refinement to the ensemble.
The undersides bear the CHRISTOFLE FRANCE maker’s mark and Christofle hallmarks, as shown clearly in the photographs.
The large rectangular serving tray is particularly impressive, with an elegant raised border and substantial handles at either side. Together, the pieces form a highly decorative presentation suitable for an elegant dining table, sideboard or drinks trolley.
A sophisticated French Christofle service, combining practical use with strong decorative appeal and an excellent addition to a collection of French luxury tableware.
