Cristallerie Europa - Drinking set (10) - Crystal

Set of 10 water glasses in heavy translucent mouth-blown crystal and hand-cut, unsigned. Cup with diamond-shaped lozenge geometric motifs, diamond points and gilded details on the edge and on the upper frieze. The faceted stem rests on a hexagonal base. Analyzing the shape of the faceted stem, the geometric grinding of the drinking vessel, and the finish, one can distinguish main historical attributions to European crystal manufactories consistent with this design: it belongs to a classic table model for refined dining, produced by several renowned European high-end crystal manufacturers of the mid-20th century such as: Bohemian or German: Nachtmann, Moser Saint-Louis (France), Val Saint Lambert (Belgium), Baccarat (France) or Josephinenhütte.
