Set of 5 glass flûte goblets in heavy transparent crystal hand-decorated with 24k gold details, attributable to the Medici Gold or Vetro Gold collection of the Italian brand Arte Italica produced in Tuscany. A broad gold band on the rim with tulip engravings and festoon or hanging garland motifs along the bowl. Florentine master artisans hand-paint 24-karat gold details on intricately hand-engraved designs. The result is, to say the least, extraordinary. Vetro Gold is popular in the entertainment world, often appearing in major films and TV programs. Two recent examples are "Downton Abbey: A New Era" and "The Regime". Mid-20th century.
