The top plaque bears the text “James Dix – Safe Engineer – 139 & 141 Cambridge Road Works, Devonshire St., London E.” and at the bottom “21 Years with the Genuine John Tann”. An interesting object with a clear relation to historical safe- and fireproof safe construction.
